This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank. Northpoint provides expert, flexible and personal inventory and equipment financing solutions to manufacturers, dealers and end-users across the U.S. and Canada.

The Sales Support Coordinator works closely with both the inside and field sales team to support business development activity for a commercial lending business. The role includes planning, logistics and reporting for sales campaigns and tradeshows. The role also includes management and reporting using primary sales CRM database, primary business operating system, and other tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel. Ideal candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel & Access, and proficiency in all other MS Office software. Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support – Assist the sales team by developing and executing automated direct marketing campaigns, processing customer lead lists, building and distributing routine reporting, and preparing presentations and proposals. Provide timely reporting to the sales team such as Credit Line Utilization, File Status, and other pertinent information to assist the sales team in maximizing their efficiency.
  • Trade Show Coordination – Coordinate Northpoint’s presence at many annual trade shows and dealer meetings across multiple industries. Source and maintain supply of marketing giveaways as well as trade show display materials and equipment. Manage registration process and travel arrangements for attendees and insure timely delivery and setup of booths and/or tables.
  • CRM Management – Lead design and deployment of Salesforce.com reporting and dashboards, monitor database for accuracy, and assist both inside and field sales team in required data input and maintenance. Develop additional automation for new cases and stay current on Salesforce.com advancements.
  • General Office Coordination – Manage office vendor relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Education/Experience:**Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university preferred.

**Language Ability:**Ability to read and interpret documents such as marketing materials and credit applications. Ability to construct customer facing emails, text messages and any other primary methods of correspondence on a regular basis. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with a variety of contacts including but not limited to manufacturer and dealer clients and potential new customers.

**Math Ability:**Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to interpret graphs.

**Reasoning Ability:**Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

**Computer Skills:**Microsoft Office required, specifically Outlook, Word, Access and Excel. Excel and Outlook utilization will be particularly heavy. Ability to rapidly become proficient in the utilization of the customer relationship management software is critical.
