Join Our Team

We are seeking an Employment and Housing Support Coordinator to engage with local newcomers and their families to facilitate participation and support integration into their communities. The coordinator would play a key role in supporting individuals and families in navigating employment opportunities, securing safe housing and successful integration into the communities. Working closely with community partners to provide hands on assistance, guidance and resources to participants. This is a remote/hybrid contract position based out of St. John's at the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an expected end date of March 31, 2026.

Job Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in education, social work, social sciences or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three years experience of relevant education or experience in a lead role
  • Experience working with community partners in a development role
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
