About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Arrival & Departure

    • Greet guests with professionalism; manage check-in/check-out processes (verifying IDs, payment, room assignments, issuing keys).
  • Reservations & Billing

    • Handle reservations via phone or in-person; manage guest accounts, process payments (cash, credit), prepare invoices, and handle upselling where appropriate.
  • Guest Communication & Inquiry Handling

    • Respond to guest questions, complaints, and requests courteously and promptly.
    • Provide information on hotel services, promotions, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination

    • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to promptly address guest requests, room readiness, or technical issues.
  • Problem Solving & Service Recovery

    • Resolve guest complaints (e.g., booking errors, service issues) efficiently to preserve satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) to interact clearly and courteously with guests and staff.

  • Excellent Customer Service: Warm, professional demeanor and dedication to guest satisfaction.

  • Attention to Detail & Multitasking: Ability to stay organized, manage simultaneous tasks, and remain accurate.

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Thrive under pressure, address unexpected situations effectively.

  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with computer systems, PMS, point-of-sale, email, and software tools.

  • Experience:

    • Prior customer service experience preferred; hospitality experience is a strong asset.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) as needed.

Overview: We’re seeking a friendly and proactive Guest Service Agent to welcome and assist our guests from arrival to departure. This role involves handling front desk operations, addressing inquiries, coordinating services, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Duties:

  • Manage check-in/check-out, reservations, payments, and billing.
  • Field guest inquiries (in person, phone, email), direct guests to hotel services and local attractions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill guest needs promptly.
  • Handle administrative tasks: room inventory, messaging, lost-and-found, shift reports.
  • Resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Participate in upselling and promoting hotel amenities.

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and tech skills.
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable handling variable and flexible schedules.
