Student Wind Symphony Librarian - Department of Music - Faculty of Arts

About the role

The Department of Music is seeking a Student Wind Symphony Librarian to assist with the preparation of sheet music for rehearsals and performances given in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall and Performing Arts Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and distribute music to performers in the ensemble
  • Maintain record of attendance at rehearsals
  • This student will consult with Wind Symphony director for instructions on how best to organize the music, and for other assistance that may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Student must be a member of the Wind Symphony
  • Preference will be given to senior students
  • Familiarity with wind ensemble scores and instrumentation would be an asset

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
