Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system (Dentrix).
• Assist the dentist during procedures, including orthodontic treatments when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of orthodontics is beneficial for assisting with specialized treatments.
• Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required.
