The role As a key player in the electrification of the transportation sector, our client designs and manufactures fully electric vehicles, focusing on performance, safety, and reducing the carbon footprint. In this context, we are looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies while participating in the transformation of the automotive industry toward more eco-friendly and sustainable solutions. This is a full-time position with our company, but you will support a variety of clients in the transportation industry as a consultant, starting with the role mentioned above, located in Montreal, Québec.

Your responsibilities

• Participate in needs analysis, project implementation, and follow-up.
• Create and test prototypes.
• Design and integrate electromechanical components to ensure vehicle performance and safety.
• Develop low- and high-voltage electrical harnesses, create electrical schematics, and manage cable routing.
• Contribute to the design and integration of electrical systems in electric vehicles.

Your Background And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Member of the OIQ – required.
• In-depth knowledge of electric vehicles and the design of high- and low-voltage harnesses.
• Proficiency with design tools, especially in a CATIA 3DX environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
