**What is the opportunity?**
The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end trade loans transactions processing for all Capital Markets and Corporate clients within Trade Operations department. This includes setting up facility and fee records in the transaction processing systems. You will be closely working with your team to ensure transactions are processed within the agreed timelines and any concerns are promptly escalated to your line manager to ensure smooth client experience. You will use your experience with Process review and simplification to evaluate current procedures and provide recommendations on improving processing time and efficiency.

- Deliver excellent service to our clients every time; focusing on doing what is best for our clients and the organization - making it Simpler, Faster, Better.
- Focus on achieving established benchmarks for complex and/or specialized client activities, transactions and/or processes, contributing to achievement of business specific Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Consistently demonstrate a sense of urgency in daily transaction processing activities understanding the importance and impact of personal actions on achieving a superior client experience.
- Responsible for successful servicing of complex transactions.
- Ensure process/controls are in place and are being followed.
- Provide professional, attentive and accurate service when dealing with both clients and team. Demonstrates commitment to taking ownership & accountability at first point of contact and ensuring appropriate escalation as required.
- Be dependable and reliable. Support with transaction verification activities when needed.
- Ensure that all transactions processed comply with KYC and AML guidelines, Antiboycott compliance, OFAC, FinCEN, USA Patriot Act and other sanctions imposed from time to time by various government /regulatory agencies.
What do you need to succeed?
- Strong background with the use of window-based computer applications such as Word and Excel combined with accurate keyboarding skills.
- Proven analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Maintaining a detail-oriented approach while working in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, judgement, flexibility and dependability.
- In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada.
Nice to have:
- Trade Finance knowledge.
- Banking experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of lending products, rate setting and payment methods
- Working knowledge of Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS) and Trade 360 business applications.
