Running open-board Canada/U.S. primarily in Ontario, Quebec, and the Midwest U.S. This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 6 days at a time and average 2,500 miles per week. Candidates must hold a valid FAST card.

• Must be willing to drive in the Northeast U.S. if required
• Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year
• Ability to pull refrigerated freight if available
• Areas of operation might vary on occasion; regional freight will be required
• Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Candidate Profile:

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must have 6-months Owner-Operator experience
• Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
• Must reside within a 2 hour commute to the Mississauga Terminal
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
• Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience
• Must hold a valid FAST card
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
