About the role
A career as Vice President, Investments offers the opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role within the Wealth Management sector in a context of organizational transformation. You will be responsible for driving the growth of investment activities, strengthening financial performance, and building key business relationships while embodying teamwork and the One Bank Mindset.
You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities and fostering synergies across the entire network — Personal Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, and Private Wealth 1859 — which represents a major lever for business expansion.
Your Role
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the business plan for the Investments sector in a transformation context.
- Oversee financial objectives: revenue, client acquisition, NPS, compliance, and operational leverage.
- Represent the sector in special mandates and at corporate governance forums.
Business Development and Strategic Relationships:
- Promote a One Bank approach by orchestrating strategic partnerships to drive growth, increase national presence, and strengthen collaboration across regions and business lines.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and credibility.
Team Leadership and Engagement:
- Lead the management team composed of Associate Vice Presidents, Investments, and provide mobilizing leadership across the group, which includes multiple advisory forces — Financial Planners, Investment and Retirement Specialists, Investment and Commercial Financing Specialists, and Remote Privilege Advisory — to ensure strategic alignment and collective performance.
- Enhance visibility and recruitment by positioning the team as a key player within the financial ecosystem.
- Drive strategic alignment and coordination of specialized advisory teams, creating bridges between sectors and mobilizing diverse talent to deliver sustainable results and growth.
Client Relations and Business Development:

Act as a strategic advisor to clients and internal partners.

Develop initiatives to increase market share and client loyalty.

You will demonstrate strong client and performance orientation, agility, and strategic influence, exercise inspiring leadership, uphold integrity and compliance, and build key relationships to support business expansion.
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
-
IPF or FP Canada license (an asset)
-
10 to 15 years of strategic management experience in investments or financial services
-
Proven leadership in managing large teams with a cross-functional, innovation-oriented approach
-
Strong expertise in full P&L management, strategic business development, investments, and advisory services
-
Excellent mastery of estate and financial planning, as well as performance management and organizational growth

In-depth knowledge of regulatory issues, governance, and risk management in investments
-
Mobilizing leadership, strategic thinking, client orientation, and ability to influence at the highest level
As announced on October 29th, the management of the network of financial planners and the investment distribution will be under the Wealth Management leadership as of January 1st, 2026
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
