Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Kingston, Ontario. Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 (Additional years of experience for experienced applicants will be considered for an increased salary range)
Primary Responsibilities
Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members Conduct site inspections and field reviews Manage communications with contactors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met Draft structural drawings and write technical reports Correspond / communicate with contractors and clients
Minimum Qualifications
5-8 years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects) Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario
