All the important tasks we'll trust you with:

• Review daily production schedules and update them based on customer orders received.
• Validate customer portals according to each client’s specific requirements.
• Serve as the daily logistics contact for various OEM customers.
• Issue and release work orders by sector according to target inventory levels or customer orders.
• Develop medium-term (24-week) production plans to balance production and maintain required inventory levels.
• Determine optimal batch sizes for each product under their responsibility.
• Identify which production lines to operate based on customer requirements.
• Maintain or improve MRP system parameters.
• Create bills of materials (BOMs) for new products in the MRP system.
• Ensure inventory accuracy for items under their responsibility and implement necessary processes to maintain it.
• Improve existing production planning processes.
• Monitor items considered obsolete.

Your areas of strength and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Operations and Production Management profile) or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry, an asset.
• Knowledge of the JD Edwards ERP system, an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills and aptitude.
• In-depth knowledge of MRP systems.
• Bilingual – fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Must be an excellent team player.
• Must demonstrate logical thinking.
• Must be able to work under pressure and manage time and priorities effectively.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
