Make Waves in Ocean Communications with MEOPAR!

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling, social media, and purpose-driven communication? Do you have a knack for designing eye-catching graphics and crafting posts that connect with diverse audiences? MEOPAR is looking for a Graphic Design & Social Media Communications Assistant to support our growing communications work.

This position reports to the Communications Coordinator and is ideal for an early-career professional, student, or freelancer looking to apply their skills in a national non-profit research network working to strengthen resilience in Canada’s marine environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or equivalent.
  • Proficiency and proven experience with social media platforms (especially Instagram and LinkedIn).
  • Strong attention to detail, design consistency, and accessibility.

  • Excellent written communication skills; ability to write short, effective copy.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is highly desirable.
