Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Alberta, Canada

About the Role:

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations for a 6-month contract (with possible extension). The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and optimizing preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks using SAP PM and DMS.
  • Coordinate with operations and procurement for maintenance execution.
  • Track spare parts, materials, and third-party service requests.
  • Lead maintenance planning meetings and review major repairs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reliability and safety performance.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of preventive maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
  • Strong SAP PM knowledge; FMEA and cement process experience preferred.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
