Position Overview The Analyst, Institutional and Pension Accounting, handles the accounting, cash processing and client service for a small portfolio of complex top-tier Institutional and Pension (IPA) clients, providing subject matter expertise to the internal IPA servicing team.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor day-to-day accounting, cash processing and client servicing for a small portfolio of complex top tier client's accounts. (Account weighting 2000-3000), guiding and direct ing specialists/senior specialists in performing their processing functions depending on the size of the specific client base.
- Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships through handling problem resolution and meeting deadlines and answering enquiries from clients and their agents regarding account activity.
- Attend regular client service delivery meetings, handling the execution of all client change requests, such as additional services or new investment products.
- Maintain and update source documentation and related information for the client portfolio by implementing procedural improvements and system enhancements.
- Assist the Supervisor in authorizing cheques, wires and foreign exchange transaction requests; coverage of supervisory duties in absence of the supervisor.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of progressive Industry experience
- Understanding of CMS & IAS; knowledge of Accounting principles
- Written and verbal communication, analytical abilities, client service, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Specific Competencies
- The salary band for this position ranges between $60,000 - $91,000.
- Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training, and internal equity.
