About the role
As a Merchandise Administrator, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of creating and organizing merchandise and uniform order shipments to our employee network, worldwide dealer network as well as online customer orders, while assisting that same network of people with any questions related to the orders.
Location: 66 Moorefield Street, Cambridge, ON
Dedicated Day Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
You will play a hybrid role in supporting both the coordination of merchandise and uniform orders and the efficient handling of shipping and receiving operations. There will be time daily that will focus on logistics and warehouse activities. To excel and assist in this role, strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills will be required to effectively deal with our dealers and employees as well as customers to provide information and ship orders. You will also need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties
- Enter or import sales orders in our operating system
- Evaluate what priority is to be used to direct the order
- Monitoring the Outfitters email box to quickly respond to questions and concerns
- Provide support and interact with employees with regards to unique order details
- Coordinate with merchandise team to distribute daily tasks and help expedite back orders
- Prepare, pack and label shipments
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and suggesting practical solutions
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Familiar with MRP systems an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Physical requirements include the capability to lift, move, and handle materials
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
