Role Objectives
- Champion the growth and visibility of the Edge Imaging brand by leading all sales and photography operations within the assigned territory.
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of photographers, driving profitability and sustainable growth in alignment with the company’s purpose, vision and values
- Ensure the Company’s CRM system is fully leveraged to optimize data management, sales tracking, and customer engagement.
- Create and implement strategies to retain and expand the subject and customer base within the territory, with a focus on driving revenue growth
Responsibilities
Sales
- Act as a proactive sales leader by acquiring key accounts, retaining existing clients, and driving sales growth through building strong business relationships with school photography decision-makers
- Work in close partnership with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to enhance lead generation and conversion outcomes.
- Achieve or surpass established sales targets within the territory.
- Create and execute a successful territory service strategy to maximize client satisfaction and growth.
- Attain in depth knowledge of Edge Imaging’s products and services to ensure effective promotion within the territory.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and summarize competitor offerings to strengthen sales strategies and presentations.
- Foster consistent engagement with key accounts, driving strong client satisfaction throughout the territory.
- Prepare and present proposals, while supporting responses for Request for Proposal (RFP)
Management
- Responsible for the implementation and successful completion of Edge Imaging programs and services, including the management of photography operations in the territory.
- Participate in professional development activities to improve product knowledge and sales skills, including company sales meetings.
- Partner with the RSM to receive targeted training, coaching, and guidance to effectively achieve sales objectives.
- Lead the interview and selection process within the assigned sales territory, while training and mentoring a high functioning team of locally-based photographers to drive revenue growth
- Ensure photography quality and staff compliance to operating governance policies and procedures meet or exceed corporate standards.
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and make adjustments in collaboration with senior management.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and team performance within the territory.
- Review and approve employee timesheets and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policy
Reporting
- Provide regular and timely updates on the sales funnel and other performance metrics, as directed by management.
- Use the company’s reporting systems efficiently and in alignment with established protocols
- Ensure renewal agreements are submitted promptly, following your manager's guidance.
Financial
- Drive sales performance and profitability within the territory, to meet financial targets and maximize revenue.
- Effectively manage and control labour costs to meet budget expectations while supporting overall financial performance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extensive periods of time
- Fast-paced office environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs & ability to push up to 80 lbs using appropriate equipment provided
- Ability to stand, walk, bend repetitively for extensive periods of time
- Travel required throughout a specific region
- School environment from Kindergarten to College/University
Other
- Participate in trade shows and conferences as necessary to promote the company’s products and services.
- Foster professional and efficient collaboration between the territory team and other departments.
- Undertake special projects if assigned such as pilot projects, focus groups, leadership opportunities.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
