About the role

(Remote Canada-Flexibility to Travel) Position Summary The Account Manager is responsible for the overall health, growth, and retention of a portfolio of Covaleyo client accounts. This role owns day-to-day account management, drives adoption of Covaleyo features and functionality, leads structured and insightful client review sessions, and is accountable for revenue outcomes including add-on tool adoption and renewals.

This role requires a self-directed professional who can work independently, manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, and represent Covaleyo with credibility at both operational and executive levels. The Account Manager acts as the primary point of accountability for the client experience while partnering internally to ensure delivery, value realization, and long-term client success.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner and escalation point.
  • Drive adoption of Covaleyo features and functionality by proactively identifying client needs and opportunities for value expansion.
  • Plan, prepare, and lead regular client review sessions that are structured, data-informed, and clearly tied to client outcomes and business value.
  • Own revenue responsibilities for assigned accounts, including renewal execution and adoption of add-on tools and services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, objectives, and operating environment to ensure Covaleyo is positioned as a long-term partner.
  • Coordinate with Product, Support, Professional Services, and other internal teams to ensure client issues, requests, and initiatives are addressed effectively.
  • Identify risks to retention or adoption early and take decisive action to mitigate them.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with client stakeholders, including senior leadership, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain accurate account records, notes, and forecasts within company systems.
  • Travel to client sites as required to support relationship building, reviews, and key milestones.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without close supervision.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility over time.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to connect product capabilities to client value and financial outcomes.
  • Confident and effective presenter, capable of leading executive-level client discussions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret usage, adoption, and performance data.
  • Dependability and consistency in follow-through and execution.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions independently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or relationship management roles, preferably in financial services or technology.
  • Demonstrated success driving renewals and expanding revenue within existing accounts.
  • Experience working with complex clients and multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada as required.

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only): The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$72,000.00 - CAD$88,000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change.
