About the role
On behalf of our transportation client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior - Job Description This project involves developing and enhancing web applications for the Ministry of Transportation, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. The role focuses on both front-end and back-end development to deliver high-quality software products.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior - Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Cloud Architects to develop application design and technical specification documents.
- Construct, enhance, or renew web applications using Cloud-Native/PaaS and Java EE application models.
- Design and implement REST API services and integrate front-end UIs with constructed APIs.
- Support Quality Assurance and Defect Management, including unit testing and test automation.
- Provide critical application support and coordinate system development activities.
- Ensure AODA compliance where required and provide system documentation.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior - Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in Entity Framework or other ORM data access tools.
- Experience with REST APIs, React, and Next.js.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
- SQL experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for web application development.
- Experience with common React libraries such as Hook Form, React Query, Zustand, etc.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Azure SQL.
- Knowledge of responsive web front-end, Web APIs, and web services design.
- Familiarity with unit testing and test automation support.
- Experience with microservices and container-based platform development.
- Understanding of Azure Cloud development, including PaaS and SQL services.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior – Assignment Length This is a 12-month contract position.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior - Start Date ASAP.
Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior - Assignment Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
