Key position functions include:
- Ensure compliance with Stream Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
- Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and / or instruction.
- Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
- Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
- Check to ensure material picked work orders is correct before being released.
- Record required information by pick list or RF gun which may include lot numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, etc.
- Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, etc.
- Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays.
- Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments.
- Maintain, organize, and label goods, while keeping areas clean and orderly
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards / procedures, which many include:
- API – American Petroleum Institute
- ES – Engineering Specifications
- ISO – International Standards Organization
- JHA – Job Hazard Analysis
- QAM – Quality Assurance Manual
- QCP – Quality Control Procedures
- WI – Work Instructions
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, and shipping containers
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of previous related experience is preferred.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Internal forklift and crane experience
- Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP would be an asset
