Position Overview:
This position is responsible for maintenance and repairs across our diverse fleet, including tow trucks, clam trucks, roll-off trucks, trailers, and AZ units. You’ll work closely with our operations and dispatch teams to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and road-ready.
The pay range for this position is $40-45 per hour depending on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues
- Complete field repairs and respond to mobile service calls as needed
- Maintain clear documentation of repairs and parts used
- Communicate with dispatch and operations to minimize downtime
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck or diesel mechanic
- 310T license preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of heavy truck systems
- Experience with trailers and yard equipment is an asset
- Valid driver’s license (AZ or DZ is a plus)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Organized, self-motivated, and dependable
