We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Communications to lead and elevate Caseware’s internal and external voice. This role combines the functions of internal communications and social media community management to ensure consistent, engaging and purpose-driven messaging across our global teams and online channels.

Location:

This position is available to all applicants eligible to work in Canada and residing in Toronto, Ontario. This is a hybrid role, working from office 3 days a week from our Downtown, Toronto office.

What you will be doing:

  • Internal Communications:
  • Develop and execute a strategic internal communications plan aligned with business objectives and company culture.
  • Create engaging content for newsletters, intranet, leadership updates, internal campaigns and company-wide announcements.
  • Collaborate closely with People Operations, leadership and department heads to ensure consistent, transparent, and timely communication.
  • Support change management efforts through clear messaging and communication strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement by spotlighting initiatives, teams and successes across internal channels.
  • Social Media & Community Management:
  • Own the strategy and execution of Caseware’s presence across platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Build and nurture online communities, actively engaging with audiences to enhance brand visibility and trust.
  • Create and curate content (posts, visuals, short-form videos) that aligns with brand voice and marketing campaigns (in partnership with graphic design team members).
  • Monitor, analyze and report on social media performance, audience sentiment and community feedback.
  • Build an internal ambassador team to expand visibility, reach and impact.
  • Stay on top of trends and best practices in digital engagement and community building.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, PeopleOps, leadership and regional teams to ensure communication is aligned globally.
  • Support crisis communication or sensitive messaging with clarity, confidentiality and care.
  • Provide messaging guidance and communication toolkits for internal stakeholders.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, with demonstrated strengths in both internal comms and social media management.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering impactful communication strategies.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms.
  • Experience with employee engagement tools (e.g., SharePoint, MSFT Teams, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite or similar).
  • Able to analyze metrics and adapt strategies based on insights.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Passion for building community and enhancing workplace culture through communication.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a SaaS, technology or B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with employer branding or talent marketing.
  • Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
