About the role
The Durham Catholic District School Board is currently recruiting Uncertified Catholic Teachers for the Uncertified Occasional Teacher (OT) roster.
Current university students and/or candidates pursing a Teaching career are welcome to apply!
Candidates are requested to complete a portfolio on ATE including a current (dated within one year) Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector, a Catholic pastoral letter, and three (3) professional references, etc.
Interviews may be scheduled prior to September 2026.

The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is a publicly funded Catholic school board located in Durham Region, east of Toronto, Ontario. There are 44 elementary schools, and 7 secondary schools. Also within the Board are one Adult Education Centre in Ajax, and one Continuing Education Centre in Oshawa. The Board has engaged in a focused effort to improve student learning through ongoing staff development in the area of instructional leadership.
