About the role
Title: ServiceNow Technical Advisor Work Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Duration: 18 months Security Clearance: Consultant must have the ability to obtain: Reliability Status (required) – processed by the CLIENT if selected to hire ) (Consultant must reside in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible to apply for Bank of Canada Secret Security Clearance.) Work Location: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank: Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Service Management Platform:
- Perform ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management feasibility assessments and develop roadmap
- Participate in business process redesign workshops
- Collaborate and facilitate discussions with internal business clients to clarify requirements and convert them into technical and functional requirements
- Establish a technical project plan with key milestones and provide status updates
- Create ServiceNow epics and stories
- Document key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements through the entire development lifecycle
- Assist the project team in resolving technical issues
- Report on development work progress
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure transition from development to operation
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with project team members and key stakeholders across all phases of the project
- Perform ServiceNow SAM Pro feasibility assessments and develop roadmap
- Facilitate and participate in business process redesign workshops
- Facilitate and contribute on the prioritization of functional and technical requirements
- Other related activities and deliverables as required
Required Qualifications & Skills: The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
- University degree or college diploma in business administration, statistics, or a related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated experience as a technical lead for ServiceNow implementations
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro related projects
- Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and working with the ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) module
- Demonstrated experience designing and configuring ServiceNow solutions based on business and technical requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting the ServiceNow development lifecycle (design, build, test, deployment, and transitioning to operations)
Additional Qualifications: The following will also be considered:
- Demonstrated ability to use data and information to inform problem solving in relation to building systems and infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks
- Demonstrated experience working and leading discussions with a broad set of stakeholders
