Role Description The Account Executive is a part-time, on-site role based in Surrey, BC, responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within the bakery’s portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining regular contact with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotes and proposals, and coordinating order details with production and logistics teams. The role involves tracking customer satisfaction, resolving issues, and ensuring prompt communication regarding product availability, delivery schedules, and pricing. The Account Executive will collaborate with internal departments to support product launches and promotions, gather feedback from the market, and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting. This position requires a strong presence at customer locations and the facility to build relationships and support a high level of service. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in account management, customer relationship building, and client service. Experience with sales, negotiation, and business development activities in a B2B environment. Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and accurate data entry. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities. Knowledge of or interest in the food, bakery, or hospitality sector is an asset. Ability to work on-site in Surrey, BC, including visiting local customer locations as needed. High level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
