Accountabilities: Own and drive end-to-end delivery of major backend and platform initiatives, from technical design through implementation, deployment, and iteration, ensuring scalable and reliable B2B system performance. Design, build, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs that support business user features such as team management, spend controls, reporting, and ordering workflows. Produce clear technical documentation including design docs, architecture decisions, runbooks, and operational guidelines to support maintainability and long-term scalability. Contribute directly to production codebases, conduct rigorous code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices across performance, reliability, and maintainability. Participate in on-call rotations, proactively monitor system health, and resolve production issues with a strong focus on root-cause analysis and prevention. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams to define requirements, align on technical direction, and deliver cohesive user experiences. Mentor and support other engineers, helping raise the overall technical bar while improving team effectiveness, engineering practices, and delivery velocity. Requirements This role requires strong senior-level engineering experience with a proven track record of building scalable backend systems in fast-paced product environments. You should bring at least 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally within e-commerce, SaaS, or platform-heavy organizations, along with strong ownership and product intuition.
