About the role
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time Temporary (0.83 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant at E.E. Oliver Elementary School. This position will is commence as soon as possible, continuing until June 19th, 2025. The successful candidate will be working with students with diverse learning needs in Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience and/or training working with student in school setting.
- Ability to work with children with varied ages, skills level, needs and abilities.
Skills:
- Willingness to be part of a learning team, take direction and follow programs without direct supervision.
- Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning and complex learning needs.
- Ability to be flexible to the changing classroom environment and individual child needs
- Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records.
- Good communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
Requirements:
- Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check .

This is a union position under the collective agreement between the
Rate of Pay:
$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
