Your Impact As part of our award-winning Investor Relations team, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping how OpenText communicates its story to the global investment community . You’ll work closely with senior leadership, helping to refine messaging, analyze market feedback, and strengthen relationships with analysts, shareholders, and key investors. Your contributions will influence investor perceptions, inform decision-making, and drive the team’s overall impact on capital markets engagement.

What The Role Offers

  • Lead investor engagement initiatives, conducting targeted outreach to institutional investors and key analysts.
  • Partner with senior executives to prepare for high-stakes investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences, ensuring leadership is fully briefed with insights, trends, and strategic messaging.
  • Analyze market trends, investor feedback, and peer activity to inform strategic recommendations and messaging for leadership and the board.
  • Collaborate on quarterly earnings communications, helping craft investor presentations, disclosures, and supporting materials.
  • Support strategic investor events, including global roadshows, conferences, and virtual sessions, ensuring impactful execution and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the development of investor relations strategy, helping identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and expand the company’s investor base.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and corporate communications, to ensure consistency and clarity in external messaging.

What You Need To Succeed You’ll excel in this role if you bring:

  • A university degree or college diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in Capital Markets, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, or Corporate Access.
  • Strong understanding of how capital markets operate and how investor sentiment influences company strategy.
  • Confident and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage investors and senior executives.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a strategic mindset, comfortable interpreting data to support recommendations.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently on high-priority, high-impact initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bonus: experience with financial modeling, data analytics, or programming languages to support deeper analysis.

This is a 12-month maternity leave contract with potential for extension or full-time employment. The role follows a hybrid work schedule and can be based in our Waterloo, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, or Downtown Toronto office .

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
