School is an Early Learning to Grade 6 school. Our staff of 25 provide service for

approximately 140 students from Vauxhall and area. We

are located in Vauxhall, approximately 20 minutes north of Taber.

Temporary 1.0 FTE Teacher- Grade 5 Language and Math & Elementary P.E.

Assignment Includes- We

are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and student-centered full-time teacher

to join our K–6 team. This position includes teaching core Language Arts and

Math instruction, as well as Physical Education classes across elementary grade

levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging students, building

strong relationships, and creating a positive, structured classroom environment

where all learners can succeed.

Responsibilities include:

• delivering high-quality

  instruction in Language Arts and Mathematics, including upper elementary

  learners

• teaching engaging and

  active Physical Education classes that promote teamwork, fitness, and positive

  participation differentiating instruction to meet the diverse academic,

  social, and emotional needs of students

• using a variety of

  instructional strategies, interventions, and supports to help students achieve

  success; creating a classroom culture built on respect, consistency,

  accountability, and encouragement

• demonstrating exceptional

  classroom management skills while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive

  learning environment; building strong relationships with students, families,

  and colleagues

• monitoring student progress

  and communicating effectively with parents and school staff

• participating actively in

  school events, collaboration, and professional development opportunities.

This position

commences on August 20, 2026, and concludes on June 18, 2027.
