Role Description The Account Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Cambridge - Brampton Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of customers, focusing on PPE and safety product solutions that align with each client’s operational needs. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, conducting regular account reviews, identifying new sales opportunities, and coordinating product proposals and pricing. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams such as customer service, operations, and procurement to ensure timely delivery, accurate orders, and high service levels. Day-to-day activities include preparing sales reports and forecasts, responding to customer inquiries, participating in on-site visits or calls, and staying current on safety products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Proven account management or B2B sales experience, ideally within safety products, industrial supplies, or related sectors. Strong skills in relationship building, client communication, and customer service, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs. Ability to analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and manage pipelines using CRM or similar tools. Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines. Comfort with a hybrid work environment, including in-person client visits in the Greater Hamilton (Burlington) area and remote work. Knowledge of PPE, safety standards, or industrial workplace environments is an asset. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and digital communication tools. Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings as required.
