The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide housekeeping and personal laundry services for residents who opt for this service. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that both the Manor and resident suites are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and healthy environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning activities according to Housekeeping routines.
- Keep record of planned cleaning and sign off when completed.
- Use cleaning chemicals according to written protocols.
- Wash, sort, distribute, and stock all linens and resident personal clothing following established procedures.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently.
- Fold and distribute resident clothing and facility linens to designated nursing units.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area daily according to set routines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Who We're Looking For:
Qualifications: We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Independence and a proactive work ethic.
Required Education and Experience:
- Equivalent of Grade 10.
- Previous housekeeping and laundry keeping experience is desired.
