##Overview

Join our Candu Security Services team and play a key role in supporting secure, efficient, and reliable operations within a dynamic engineering environment. As part of our Administrative Support team, you will contribute to the protection of people, facilities, and assets while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the department. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, applying your organizational skills and security acumen in a critical support position.

##Your Role

• Provide physical and personnel security support, including assistance with physical security controls.
• Assist in evaluating security posture to safeguard personnel, buildings, and assets through access control management.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships to support physical security policies and procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards.
• Serve as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) for Designated Organization Screening and Facility Security Clearance requirements.
• Support the Security Lead by processing and managing security clearances for staff and contractors.
• Assist employees and contractors with personnel security processes and ensure required briefings and file safeguarding.

##About You

• Ability to apply knowledge from College or Technical training in a related field (asset).
• Aptitude for supporting security‑related activities, ideally with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to provide strong administrative support within a security environment.
• Proficiency in communicating effectively with all levels of management and government contacts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II (SECRET) clearance with the Government of Canada.
