Role Overview
The Roofing & Siding Supervisor is responsible for leading field execution of roofing, siding, and building envelope installations across multiple construction projects. This role ensures that all work is delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. Working closely with project management, estimating, procurement, and field crews, the supervisor coordinates labour, materials, equipment, and site logistics to ensure efficient project execution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining productivity, quality, and alignment between planning, procurement, and installation.
Success in this role means installation crews are well-coordinated, productive, and consistently delivering high-quality work aligned with project schedules. Material flow and site logistics are properly planned to avoid delays, communication between field and project teams is proactive and clear, and projects are completed with minimal deficiencies, strong safety performance, and high client satisfaction.

What You Bring to the Table
Technical Skills
-
5+ years of experience in roofing, siding, or building envelope construction
-
2+ years of experience supervising field crews or subcontractors
-
Strong knowledge of roofing systems (SBS, TPO, EPDM, BUR, shingles, metal roofing)
-
Strong knowledge of siding and cladding systems (metal panels, fiber cement, vinyl, ACM panels)
-
Solid understanding of flashing details, waterproofing systems, and building envelope assemblies
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
-
Experience coordinating labour, materials, equipment, and site logistics across multiple projects
-
Experience identifying scope gaps and supporting change orders and extra work pricing
-
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and productivity management
-
Familiarity with Ontario construction practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise roofing and siding installation crews across multiple job sites

Coordinate daily and weekly labour scheduling based on project priorities and timelines

Ensure all installations meet drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards

Monitor workmanship, site productivity, and crew performance, addressing issues proactively
-
Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics to support project schedules
-
Conduct site reviews, measurements, and pre-construction planning to identify risks and constraints
-
Work closely with Project Managers and Estimators to align scope, sequencing, and execution strategy
-
Identify and document change orders, site conditions, and additional work requirements
-
Communicate regularly with clients, general contractors, and internal teams on progress and scheduling
-
Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, photos, and progress tracking
-
Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with all site and regulatory requirements
