About the role

Who is a Regional Facilities Manager? The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Service Technicians and Clubs in their assigned region(s), to ensure the highest level of service and maintenance is achieved nationally. This role will help ensure every Club provides the best possible environment for each member that chooses GoodLife.

What will you be doing?

  • Manages direct reports and the people requirements of the Department/Team using provided tools and resources to ensure the successful execution of all key responsibilities and tasks, retention of great talent, and high Associate engagement.
  • Facilitates recruitment of direct reports alongside the Talent Acquisition Department to ensure adequate resourcing based on approved Department/Team budget.
  • Leads the onboarding, coaching, learning, development, and performance management of all direct reports to ensure a positive and safe working experience. Maintain an acute awareness of both immediate and long-term operational performance and service needs of the assigned region.
  • This will be attained through regular club visits throughout the region.
  • Through working alongside Service Technicians to foster skill development and best practices.
  • Through working with specialist teams (Club Design & Construction / Installation / AV) to plan and implement improvements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders within the department, and across the Company, to maintain a clear understanding of needs, plans and progress.
  • Initiate updates with Operations’ Divisional Managers and PTDMs so they have a clear picture of service needs, outstanding issues and future plans.
  • Work directly with Service Coordinators and Purchasers to document any needs or support required.
  • Work with Department leaders to coordinate and approve larger service items and strategize on direction.
  • Practices safe working habits at all times.
  • Leads by example, following all health & safety best practices when carrying out service and maintenance work with teams.
  • Obeys all traffic laws and practice safe and professional driving habits in company vehicles.
  • Ensures all team members follow suit, recommends or provides any appropriate training for Service Technician team.
  • Travel between multiple locations/regions

Do you have what it takes?

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years proven success in supervisory / leadership role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in service / repair in the fitness industry a strong asset

Salary Range: $71,000-$107,000

Target Hiring Range: $71,000-$78,200

  • The salary range indicated is representative of all positions evaluated at this level. The actual starting salary is determined by assessing related skills, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness, subject to available budget.
