Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone part time, 15-20 hours a week. we are open Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays from 10am-3pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required. The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory by restocking medications and supplies
• Process insurance claims and coordinate with insurance companies (will train)
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Help in the preparation of medication orders under pharmacist supervision
• Deliveries to nearby patients as required
• Help close the pharmacy

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with Propel is a strong plus, but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Assistant Experience
