About the role
CGI’s Total Compensation Center of Expertise is looking for a Manager Executive Compensation to join the global compensation team. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate team that contributes to the deployment and evolution of the programs supporting CGI’s entrepreneurial culture. This position reports to the Director Global Total Compensation.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Executive Compensation
- Evaluate and refine executive compensation programs.
- Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure compensation programs align with industry standards and organizational objectives.
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership and the Compensation Committee on programs design, pay levels, and policy updates.
- Manage Board Member and Executive compensation cycle.
- Support team with the ownership programs (share purchase plan, long-term incentive).
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Develop and prepare material and analysis for Board and HR / Compensation Committee meetings.
- Key role in the preparation of the proxy circular in collaboration with the legal team.
- Maintain and monitor our current processes, provide solutions for more efficiencies.
- Monitor trends in executive compensation, governance, and market practices to inform program evolution.
- Lead special projects as they arise.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance
- 5-8 years of experience in compensation, with focus on executive or broad-based compensation programs.
- Strong understanding of executive compensation principles, governance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in compensation modeling and data analysis.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,000–$155,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
