The Managing Server at Table Nineteen is ahybrid leadership role, combining hands-on service with floor management responsibilities. You’ll lead shifts, support the Front of House team, and step into service when needed—ensuring a seamless guest experience at all times.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoysleading from the floor, and is confident balancingteam leadership with guest-facing service. Flexibility is key, as your week may include a mix of managing and serving shifts depending on business needs, events, and vacation coverage.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Lead Front of House shifts, ensuring smooth service, strong communication, and a positive team environment.
  • Act as the go-to person on the floor—supporting servers, hosts, bartenders, and handling guest needs in real time.
  • Scheduled for serving shifts, confidently running your own section while maintaining high service standards.
  • Assist with cutting server sections, communicating specials, and shift organization alongside leadership.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members, helping maintain consistency in service standards.
  • Monitor service flow, labor, and overall guest experience throughout shifts.
  • Support events including weddings, tournaments, and large group functions.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
  • Uphold cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Lead by example—bringing a positive, solutions-focused attitude to every shift.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3–4 years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Previous leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of full-service dining and guest experience.
  • Confidence in both leading a team and serving guests to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions independently.
  • A team-first mindset with a natural ability to motivate and support others.
