Position Overvie**
w:Reporting to the Director, Biomedical Engineering, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to the delivery of high quality, patient-focused interprofessional care. Your well-developed leadership and critical thinking skills, coupled with a professional and strategic approach, will enable you to successfully develop, implement and manage the technical support of medical devices across the hospital and develop the hospital’s medical equipment plan, as well as provide leadership to technical staff and collaborate with medical, clinical, and administrative staff, and vendors as appropriate. In this role, you will audit, monitor, analyze and take appropriate action to ensure the manufacturer, regulatory and departmental guidelines are adhered to. You will utilize your experience in regulatory compliance to ensure the efficient execution of manufacturer updates, upgrades and recall complianc

As the Manager, Biomedical Engineering, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service to facilitate the timely and accurate provision of clinical engineering services; including human resource management, staff education, practice enhancement, quality management utilization, performance management and budgetary responsibilities. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing the priorities and indicators for the Departmental Strategic Plan.
