About the role

Knowledgehook is on a mission to empower the problem-solvers of tomorrow. We are preparing the next generation of learners to create an incredible future. We have an education brand with a passionate fan-base, and are creating a purpose-driven team who loves to collaborate and solve problems with solutions that break new ground. To help our company move to the next level and enable us to build an even more compelling education experience, we are looking for a Project Manager. This is a 5 days In-Office position.

We’re looking for someone who is capable of keeping pace with and keeping track of multiple fast-moving parts of our operation across education content development, localization, software development timelines, customer requests, social media campaigns and rollout dates, and market expansion plans, making sure all the aforementioned pieces are moving together and are on pace to meet a myriad of deadlines, and, where applicable, are on budget. You should be adaptable, and a master of change management, who is very comfortable communicating up and down the team structure in an effective way.

Please include “Math is awesome” in your resume.

What you will be doing

  • Tight budget control, clear forecasts, timely approvals, accurate tracking, and smooth invoice flow
  • Aligning EPD (software development teams) efforts and schedules with marketing, content ops, international expansion translations, education content localization, and external client commitment, requests and timelines
  • Maintain clear status, no surprises. One source of truth for plans, risks, and decision
  • Manage localization across product design as well as education content with regards to budget and execution
  • Own the budget for areas under your purview by forecasting upcoming work, driving approvals, tracking spend, and approving invoices for content and localization efforts
  • Manage a Content Coordinator who will assist with operationalizing, tracking, and forecasting the content efforts
  • In concert with the Director of Go-to-Market, triage and prioritize localization and content development requests by taking intake from Learning Success Managers, setting priorities based on impact, urgency, and risk, and closing the loop with requesters
  • Coordinate and align product and content releases, and their social media post schedules, with Social Media Managers
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors by setting scopes, timelines, and billing codes, and by tracking assignments and due dates
  • Keep our process and tools usable by maintaining up-to-date SOPs, helping write and prioritize tickets, and following work through to release
  • Manage approvals by lining up reviews and sign-off gates and logging decisions in JIRA/Confluence
  • Advocate for process improvements and internal software tool enhancements to make your team’s work more efficient

What you need to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills - can communicate quickly and clearly up and down the chain-of-command
  • 3+ Years of experience as a Project Manager in a SaaS organization
  • 4+ years running content, localization, or edtech projects end-to-end is a strong bonus
  • Hands-on with JIRA/Confluence (or similar), Google Workspace, and basic dashboards.
  • Comfortable running standups, content risk reviews, and post-mortems
  • Calm under change; bias to unblock and communicate red alerts to key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Vendor/contractor management and translation workflow experience is a major plus
  • Math curriculum or classroom experience is a plus
  • Games industry knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Writing/editing background; experience packaging release notes and marketing handoffs is a plus
  • Experience managing at least 1 direct report is a plus
