About the role
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, people-focused Supervisor to join our growing team in the Ottawa region. Since this role involves interacting with clients, partners, and employees in both official languages, the Supervisor must be fully bilingual in French and English.
What Would You Be Doing?
Operations:
- Supervise the general operations of each location
- Maintain efficient daily operations on-site, ensuring that employees project the expected image of Indigo Park Canada Services
- Monitor lot conditions (surface, HVAC, lighting, etc.)
- Ensure proper vehicle circulation
- Verify that on-site supplies are adequate (tickets, cashier reports, etc.)
- Oversee equipment (pay-and-display meters, POFs, gates, exit terminals, etc.)
- Provide the Employee Manual / Operations Manual to staff
- Perform lot audits (revenue and operational)
- Act promptly on instructions from the Area Manager regarding rate changes (ordering new decals or signage)
- Make recommendations to the Area Manager to improve revenue at your locations
- Train new staff according to the lot manual, including valet procedures when applicable
Human Resources:
- Maintain up-to-date employee files
- Take necessary disciplinary measures with field staff (in coordination with the Area Manager)
- Replace field staff in cases of illness or absence
- Assist field staff during peak periods
- Communicate staffing needs or changes to the Area Manager
- Provide uniforms to staff
Administration:
- Verify employee time punches using the ADP portal
- Ensure that all operational policies and procedures are followed at your location
- Ensure that all money-handling procedures are documented in the Operations Manuals and followed by cashiers and attendants
- Be available on weekends for on-call work
- Ensure that cashiers, attendants, and valets are properly stocked for inventory
- Assist the Area Manager with client relations
- Assist the Area Manager with performance reviews for field staff
- Train new staff on-site
What Are We Looking For?
- Proficiency with a wide range of software applications and digital tools
- A college diploma or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- Full bilingualism in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, based on operational needs
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- A valid and clean G-class driver’s license
