(Test) HR Assistant

About the role

About This Job: As an HR Assistant, you assist with the people team with people strategy and administration that enables our business objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • **Partners**with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and **develops**HR solutions to support those goals.
  • **Provides**guidance and counsel to managers and employees on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • **Leads**the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, such as talent management, training and development, and employee engagement.
  • **Manages**employee relations issues, **conducting**investigations and **recommending**appropriate resolutions.
  • **Analyzes**HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • **Ensures**compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • **Supervises**the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
  • **Hires**and **trains**new employees.
  • **Directs**work assignments and **provides**ongoing feedback.
  • **Manages**employee performance and **addresses**performance issues.

### Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

### Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

### Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience in **employee relations**, **performance management**, and **talent management**.
  • Experience with **HRIS**systems.

### Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of **employment law**.
  • Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**suite.
  • Excellent **communication**, **interpersonal**, and **problem-solving**skills.
  • Ability to **build**strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of **HR Strategy**.
  • Experience with **Change Management**.

### Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience in **Compensation & Benefits**.
  • Experience in **Training & Development**.
  • Experience in **Succession Planning**.
