Network Operation Center and Tower Support
RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our growing Technical Services Team. RFNow is growing its IT team and expanding the serviced areas and client base. To enable this growth, RFNow is looking for people with a desire to learn and work in our service area of Southeastern Saskatchewan as a NOC/Towers Support person. Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, Network Architects, and other teams, you will be responsible for all devices and facilities that support RFNow’s growing services: ISP (fiber and wireless), TV, Voice, and other new services.
General Responsibilities:
- Building, configuring, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and POP Sites.
- Working mostly remote, requiring travel in Eastern Saskatchewan. Occasionally into Western Manitoba.
- Equipment includes Racks, UPS’s, networking devices (Cisco, Nokia, Microtik, Eero, and others), servers, and storage and more.
- Site inspections, maintaining site equipment: HVAC units, Generators and other things that are assigned to maintain site efficiencies.
- Applications include Zabbix, Quickbase, Windows, Linux, and a variety of applications to support services to staff and customers.
- On-call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Computer Science or other IT course/programs.
- Cisco networking training and certification.
- Windows & Linux Server experience and training.
- A desire to learn and be part of a growing team.
- Nice to have: ISP experience and fiber networks experience
