About the role
Job Posting: Morning Bar Prep, Inventory & Batching (Non-Guest Facing)
Location: Earls Yorkville (Toronto, ON – Steps from Bay & Bloor TTC)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Consistent, stable daytime hours)
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Routine Role
About Earls Kitchen + Bar
At Earls, our evening energy is legendary—but that energy is entirely built on the preparation that happens before our doors even open. Our Yorkville location is fast-paced and premium, and we believe that behind-the-scenes execution is just as important as front-of-house hospitality. We are looking for a dedicated individual who loves our team culture but thrives working independently in their own specialized zone.
The Role: The Backbone of our Bar Program
We are not looking for a future bartender or a guest-facing role. We are looking for a consistent, reliable Bar Prepper & Inventory Assistant who genuinely loves routine, structure, physical work, and meticulous execution.
Reporting directly to our Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, you will be a vital part of the Earls team, but your day-to-day work is highly independent. This is a Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM commitment. If you are looking for a stable, predictable morning routine where you can put your head down, get a physical workout in, and master your craft, this is your spot.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Master the Batch: Handcraft and batch our signature cocktail bases, custom syrups, and infusions according to exact Earls recipes.
- Precision Prep: Juice fresh citrus daily, prep premium garnishes, and maintain strict quality and cleanliness standards at your station.
- Inventory & Ordering Support: Play a vital role in our liquor, wine, and beer inventory management. Every Monday morning, you will directly assist management with full product counts.
- Heavy Lifting & Organization: Receive, organize, and restock heavy liquor boxes, beer kegs, and wine crates, moving them efficiently to various storage locations throughout the restaurant.
- Own the Environment: Independently manage, clean, and organize the bar prep environment so it is pristine and fully stocked before the midday rush.
Who You Are (Requirements)
- The Ultimate Rock: You are incredibly reliable and looking specifically for a stable, permanent Monday-to-Friday routine (7:00 AM starts).
- Built for Manual Labor: This job is highly physical. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting, bending, and moving large, heavy items (kegs, crates, ice) to different storage areas daily.
- Thrive in Independent Work: You enjoy being part of a great restaurant culture, but you prefer to work in your own designated area without the demands of guest interaction.
- Detail-Oriented & Methodical: You take pride in accurate counting for inventory, the exactness of a recipe, and the cleanliness of your station.
- No previous bartending experience required; we value reliability, physical stamina, and a great attitude above all else.
What’s In It For You
- Competitive hourly wages + a share of the tip pool.
- Predictable, guaranteed daytime hours (keep your evenings and weekends entirely free).
- An Earls lifestyle card for incredible food and drink discounts across all locations.
- A supportive, respectful management team and kitchen family where your behind-the-scenes contribution is deeply valued.

About Earls Vaughan
Why Earls?
Earls Kitchen + Bar is a family-run business, launched by father and son, Leroy Earl “Bus” Fuller and Stanley Earl Fuller in the early ‘80s and is also one of North America’s most successful independent restaurant groups. There are about 7,000 employees at 69 locations from Vancouver to Miami. Earls started with a simple idea: a laid-back burger and beer joint. Earls' early success was based on innovation, the best ingredients and great service.
While keeping these core values, Earls has become a trend setting high end restaurant group known for ‘unchaining the chain’ with customized new build locations, and innovative improvements to existing restaurants. We are a force to be reckoned with in the restaurant industry where employees and partners feel a strong sense of pride representing the Earls brand.
