Location: The Safe Cafe
**Employment:**Full Time, 20 hrs/wk
Compensation:$17.50 - $19.50 / hour
**Hours:**Between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. 3-month probation and review.
Start Date: Immediate

Are you someone who loves coffee, connection, and community? We're hiring a Barista to join our front-of-house team! This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment while delivering great service and even better lattes.
What You’ll Do

Crafting espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages

Greeting guests and creating a warm, welcoming café atmosphere

Supporting team members in keeping the café tidy and well-stocked

Taking and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency

Learning the art of great coffee—and how to work under pressure with style
Who You Are

Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

Able to stay calm and organized in a busy setting

A strong communicator and team player

Committed to punctuality, cleanliness, and hospitality
What You Bring

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Able to follow detailed instructions and standard drink recipes

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

No formal education required
Additional Requirements

Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) preferred
-
Barista or customer service experience is an asset but not required—training provided!
