About the role

About the role

Our Martensville location is seeking a caring and dependable team member to provide classroom coverage while our Early Childhood Educators are on their lunch breaks. This is a great mid-day role for someone who enjoys working with children and wants consistent, short shifts.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise children during play, routines, and rest periods while educators are on break.
  • Follow established classroom routines and maintain a safe, positive environment.
  • Support children’s transitions (to/from lunch, outdoor play, nap prep, etc.).
  • Communicate with educators to ensure smooth hand-offs before and after coverage.
  • Uphold health, safety, and licensing standards at all times.

What you bring

  • A warm, patient, and reliable presence.

  • Availability between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday–Friday (flexible availability).

  • Experience working with children (childcare, camps, schools, volunteering, or similar) is an asset.

  • Current:

    • Standard First Aid & CPR-C (would be an asset)
    • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
    • Early Childhood Educator Level I or no Level
