Credit Revenue Manager – Head Office, Mississauga The Credit & Revenue Manager will be an integral member of the Entity Finance team & will work closely with other functions such as Sales, Customer service, Logistics, Tax & Treasury as well as Inventory, to ensure accurate reporting of receivables & related taxes. The role will champion the relationship with Global Business Service (GBS) specifically the Order-To-Cash (O2C) team ensuring the service levels provided are in line with the SOPs.

The incumbent is responsible for monitoring receivables through establishment and management of credit limits, maintenance of sales, tax & customer conditions on SAP while working cross-functionally on route-to-market projects. This position will be responsible for monitoring JSOX controls relating to receivables. The incumbent is responsible for conducting analysis of credit requirements and making final recommendation on customers' credit limits via BAP/Memo.

He/She will be responsible for reviewing and releasing orders that are on hold, delivering revenue by ensuring timely billing of open orders on SAP, SIBSAP, JTI Direct & other sales channels & finally drive the collection of receivables. The position will be responsible for the managing customer master data, ensuring periodic review of key information such as Tobacco licences & other key information on SAP. He/She will also lead test case scenarios on SAP, drive process improvement initiatives as it relates to O2C process of JTI Canada selling entities.

Position As a Credit Revenue Manager, you will

  • Assess credit risk & viability of potential & existing customers as well as establish credit limits & terms.
  • Assist to complete the annual review of all customers and prepare credit reports as needed.
  • Periodic review of customer data details such as tobacco licenses, direct debit & banking information.
  • Monitor Global credit insurance & liaise with the Global Credit Management team to ensure that reporting requirements are fulfilled and application of best business practice.
  • Proactively ensure timely billing of sales orders & manage unsellable returns for credit note issuance.
  • Liaise with the tax department to ensure that tax rates are updated in SAP promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales team on JTI Direct & Siebel to improve AR performance, & minimize bad debt.
  • Perform analysis of revenue recognition inline with JTI policies.
  • Lead SAP test cases on Order to Cash process as required as well as submit and monitor change requests as needed.
  • Review & update customer information, product marking, pricing & excise conditions etc. on SAP.
  • Investigate ad-hoc pricing errors and make price corrections directly in SAP and update PIR for finished goods.
  • Collaborate with the company’s order desk on order management & billing matters inline JTI policies.
  • Liaise with GBS Manila to submit related MyJTI tickets, resolve any billing or customer account issues, monitor the status of collection & issuance of credit notes for unsellable products.
  • Respond to customer queries & scheduling collection letters, dunning process for over dues
  • Monitor JSOX controls that are relevant to Order to cash process.
  • Drive BAP/Memo process relating to Order to cash process.
  • Process improvement & SOP updates based on business realities.
  • Assist with various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years related business experience with a company of a similar size.
  • Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office tools and analytical skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • Detail oriented and have a sense of urgency.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to take charge/responsibility/ownership.
  • Desire to seek for learning and self-improvement opportunities.
