- This is an in-office position Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday's.
Reporting to Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing, verifying and reconciling invoices for payment. This role is an entry level position at Urban Barn, but an opportunity for you to grow your career within our organization in the field of Finance.

What You Will Do:
- Post high volume AP invoices and personal expenses
- Manage the AP invoice entry to ensure all items are posted before the weekly cheque run
- Ensure proper approvals are obtained, code invoices, and post into SAP
- Use the PO system to pay suppliers and maintain a reconciliation between our system and the vendor
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Review accounts payable sub-ledger
- Additional duties as required
Who You Are:
- You have a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers
- Analytical thinker, you enjoy investigating and understanding where the issues stem from
- Ability to manage high workloads, prioritize effectively, and meet demanding timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, resourceful, and reliable, with the ability to work independently or in a team
- Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Able to uphold a high-level of confidentiality when working with sensitive business information
What You Bring:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, or similar educational background
- Experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset
- Experience handling a high volume of transactions
- Good verbal and written communication skills; customer service skills would be considered an asset
