Job Description

Permanent full-time position
Schedule: To be discussed (must be available every other weekend)
Work location: 2415 Chem. Tourville, Saint-Nicéphore, QC J2A 3Y4, Canada

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service—all while making sure company goals are met.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Being actively present in the yard to supervise and participate in operations, in an environment that can be outdoor, physical, and dirty;

  • Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;

  • Enforcing environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures;

  • Assisting the Branch Manager with monthly Health & Safety audits;

  • Supervising daily operations such as scheduling, sales, and production targets;

  • Supporting employees by taking part in daily tasks and operational initiatives on the ground;

  • Assisting the Branch Manager with employee communication;

  • Working closely with various partners to monitor and apply business processes;

  • Conducting, alongside the Branch Manager, quarterly evaluations of hourly employees;

  • Performing various administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, scheduling, etc.);

  • Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;

  • Acting as an ambassador during organizational changes and playing an active role in their implementation at your branch.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a management role;
  • College or university degree;
  • Experience in retail or the automotive industry is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
