Founded and led by executives with decades of experience building and operating one of Canada’s largest multi-family REITs, BDL has quickly re-established itself as a trusted developer and construction manager. Trades and suppliers who worked with the leadership team in the past have returned, reinforcing the company’s reputation for speed, efficiency, and fairness. With a disciplined approach, BDL blends entrepreneurial agility with a strong foundation of process, governance, and reputation.
The new Chief Operating Officer will step into a pivotal role at the heart of this growth story. Reporting to the President and working closely with the executive team, the Chief Operating Officer will take primary responsibility for scaling operations to match the company’s strategic ambitions. This includes leading construction execution across multiple geographies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget, strengthening client confidence, and building the organizational capacity to support sustained growth.
This individual will also play a central role in developing leadership depth and embedding operational discipline to support BDL’s future growth. At the same time, they will be the face of execution for clients—translating BDL’s relationships and commitments into successful projects and long-term partnerships.
