About The Opportunity The Dayforce Global Payroll team is looking for a Software Developer in Test Intern that is passionate about all facets of software development and keen on making a positive impact for our customers. Activities include building applications and tests utilizing modern cloud technology to create solutions for real world problems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge and a desire to keep up to date with advances in cloud technologies.
Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. You will work closely and collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Participate in the design and implementation of highly scalable and available innovative solutions
- Create automation to safeguard quality of production application
- Creating proof-of-concepts with recent technologies to verify scalability, and quality
- Participate in Product discussions to understand real word use cases and business needs
- Take ownership and responsibility for development initiatives and make them happen
- Contribute to the engineering process and culture
Skills And Experience We Value
- Experience in building web or database-based applications using high-level programming languages (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Strong Knowledge of programming languages,
- Technical fluency; comfortable discussing or diving deep into technology concepts, options, and ideas
- Driven by delivering end user value and impact
- Desire to work and experiment with recent technologies with a proven record of quickly learning new development
- Ability to debug, analyze, and read existing code
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
What Would Really Make You Stand Out
- Proficiency in using Visual Studio as IDE
- Taken relevant courses in AI or Machine Learning
