Summary

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Rooms Operations supervisor

We are excited to share that Hyatt Regency Calgary has an opportunity for people who love helping people.

Please join our Rooms team as a Rooms Operations Supervisor. This role will involve working in the Housekeeping and Front Office departments, engaging and providing services to our guest and ensuring they receive a flawless experience whilst staying with us.

What is expEcted of me in this role?

  • Understanding of Front Desk and Housekeeping Operations which include checking guests in and out of the hotel, leading the teams pre-shifts, room inspections and sharing the daily tasks of the day
  • Liaison with other departments, including Engineering, Guest Hub, Sales and Events and Outlets to ensure an amazing experience for our guests
  • Training the Front office and Housekeeping team on any new standard operating procedures
  • Supporting the Rooms Operations Manager with short and long-term planning of housekeeping and Front Office projects and daily operations
  • Train colleagues on brand standards of room cleaning
  • Assist with report generation, scheduling, payroll and inventory management as required
  • Lifting, pushing and pulling a moderate amount of weight
  • Flexible schedule and shift pattern based upon hotel needs
  • At times you may require to do overnight shifts, in the absence of Over Night Manager
  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Front Desk and Housekeeping Supervisor experience is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of OPERA PMS and other PMS is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license equivalent to a Class 5 Province of Alberta driver’s license would be an asset.
  • Clean driver’s abstract must be provided by the applicant upon selection.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $26 CAD per hour
